| The production process in the various production sites in Italy and overseas is designed to assure an efficient, flexible and controlled flow in order to adjust to requirements in terms of volumes and delivery time. The selection of suppliers is aimed at building long term relationships and at actively involving suppliers in the production process. Suppliers share the delivery planning, problem solving, and the continuous improvement process. Up-to-date machinery and equipment, sometimes tailored for specific requirements, allow Adler to reduce set-up times and to assure product compliance with the design and the required production capacity. Friction materials and elastomeric compounds are formulated, prepared and verified in-house. Steel, aluminum and plastic composite materials are purchased. Friction materials are developed for specific product applications and can be rubber, paper or metal sintered material based. High performance and durability are their main features. Elastomeric compounds, specific for each application, are formulated on polymeric bases NR, SBR, NBR, HNBR, EPM, ECO and FPM, depending on the required performance and targets. |
